Keep our Community Safe
FUSUS Camera Registration
Registering your security cameras allows our department to quickly and efficiently investigate incidents that may have occurred in and around your location. Your support of this program will help the department keep our community safe for all of its citizens. Registry does not give the Harrison County Sheriff's Office access to your cameras- it only helps investigators get in touch in case of a criminal incident.
- Registration typically takes 60 seconds
- The information you provide is accessible only by authorized law enforcement personnel
- Helps investigators to request recorded video of criminal incidents, to assist in investigations

Public Safety Cadets
Public Safety Cadets is a co-ed Junior Police Organization sponsored by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. It is designed with the intent to educate and involve young adults in police operations in order to lay a solid foundation for a successful law enforcement career in the future. Cadets range in age between 14 to 20 years and will learn self-discipline and structure from qualified Law Enforcement Instructors.
Cadets receive the opportunity to broaden their understanding of modern Law Enforcement techniques and the “Real World” application of them. The program will allow Cadets to obtain first-hand knowledge of the challenges and required job skills that make up their county Sheriff’s Office, in areas such as Community Relations, Crime Prevention, Corrections, Radio Communications and Patrol Operations. Cadet activities are always conducted under the direct supervision of Sheriff’s Office Deputies and/or qualified instructors & advisors.
