Aviation
The Aviation Division consists of two helicopters used in a variety of missions including manhunts, traffic control, and aerial surveillance.
Communications
Communications division is the heartbeat of the agency. Our dispatchers are highly respected and are considered as a friendly voice that is here to help.
Enforcement
Covering nine hundred and seventy-six square miles and five municipalities, we work in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies to protect the lives and property of each citizen.
Investigations
The Investigations Division includes cold case files, criminal investigations, narcotics division, warrants and extradition, and public records.
Mobile Command Vehicle
The Mobile Command Vehicle can respond to urgent incidents along with planned events to provide law enforcement.
Training Academy
The Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy’s mission is to provide exceptional education and training to first responders and future law enforcement officers in the State of Mississippi and Gulf South region.
Corrections
The Corrections Division of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office consists of the Adult Detention Center, Work Center and County Work Farm.
